In Cevre Secondary School, we are implementing an intensive academic program in order to prepare our students for the "High School Entrance Exam" which takes place towards the end of 8th grade. Starting with 5th grade, which is the first year of middle school, we follow a spiral test preparation system program that continues throughout grades 6 and 7.

We are aware that the basis to pass through a successful exam preparation process and to maximize students’ performance starts at school. Without a solid foundation in school, a high degree of excellence cannot be achieved even with support from outside. For this reason, "High School Entrance Exam" studies are continuing without affecting the educational program followed.

At the beginning of the year "High School Entrance Examination Information Meetings" are organized to inform our students and parents. After the meetings and upon request, individual information is provided to our students and parents.

In the 6th, 7th and 8th grades, "Interim Assessment Examination, Screening Examination and Subject Screening Tests" are applied. In connection with these exams, "ADS meetings" are held and the exam results are evaluated. In addition, various materials and publications are distributed to our students in order to support the "High School Entrance Examination". In order to overcome the shortcomings of the students, extra lessons are conducted by the teachers outside of class hours. The aim is that the students will be able to understand the next topic better by eliminating the student shortcomings with the studies done.

The courses related to "High School Entrance Exam" continue after the examination.  One to one interviews with all students and parents are made during convenient period in order to create preference lists that are best tailored to the goals and abilities of the students.
