Çevre College 3rd Grade Students’ visit to Glass Furnace Museum

On 14th March 2019 our 3rd grade students visited Beykoz Glass Furnace.

Our students went there in order to reinforce their knowledge regarding the classification of household goods in accordance to what they’re made of. They watched the stages of making objects such as vases, glasses, etc. They also saw the fascinating and wonderful works made of fluid glass and watched the glass craftsmen making glass art. They had the chance to experience the amazing and entertaining world of glass. They were involved in the magical world of glass by making plates and panels using small pieces of colored glass.

Even though the weather was cold, they also enjoyed the beautiful nature in the gardens of the Beykoz Furnace on the banks of Riva stream.
