THE ACTIVITIES ANDTHE BANDS
The branches of the guitar, the violin and the percussion: Music instrument education starts at 4th grade and continues until the end of 7th grade. The students choose the instrument and start to learn how to play it and improve it all through out the school years. The school bands “ ÇEVRE PULSE, POLIPHONY and BURNING STICKS” which are based on rythm and choir branches perform in school organisations and represent school in festivals. They have received many awards from national music competitions.
In order to improve the musical knowledge of students starting from 1st grade to 10th grade, there is a culture class once a month. In this class, we aim to develop awareness in our students about art history, famous composers, classical music, Turkish music and world music.
Our aim in Ceramic and Art Lessons is to highlight students’ abilities, make them express themselves, feed their feelings and make them able to increase their creativity.
In these courses the students express themselves by using their body actions, their thinking and their perceiving abilities. They become sensitive and creative individuals who are also respectful towards cultural values
The Schedule of Art Activities are :

Starting from primary school, the use of creative drama has become an important component of our education program as a support for other subjects and it is becoming more widespread. The earlier the children start creative drama, the more positive the influence is since it is an important tool for encouraging students to be modern, creative and democratic individuals.
What makes drama interesting is the variety in it and the language used i.e. imitating and acting through a long-term process components of which are warm-up, relaxation, role-playing, pandomime, improvisation, role-development and evaluation.
