Your Light is Our Way

85 years of longing for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, to whom we always bow with respect for everything we have learned from him.

At 09.05 , we commemorated the great leader, politician, commander and the founder of our republic, Atatürk, with dignity and respect. The main theme of the ceremony was the process that began with Atatürk’s arrival in Ankara to organize the Turkish War of Independence. In our ceremony, in addition to the documentary filmed in Ankara, there were letters that express our Great Leader’s emotions and thoughts, performances of the Çevre polyphony group, and a lyrical dance show.

With the theme “Your Light is Our Way” we also commemorated our great leader with a flower ceremony. The students of Cevre College, from preschool to high school, turned Atatürk’s monument into a beautiful garden full of flowers. On this day, both the teachers and students, we all  experienced very emotional moments and showed our longing and dedication to Him, As Cevre College, we promise to follow ‘Atatürk’s principles’ and to protect his legacy forever and ever.
