Çevre School Library consists of 15.000 volumes of books 10 periodicals, CDs, DVDs, VCDs and non-print materials in Turkish, English, German and Spanish languages, Academic staff in coordination with the librarian aim to enable the students to actively use a wide range of audio visual materials as well as printed and electronic resources in their learning and research. The library is vailable to the students during school hours for individual use as well as for work conducted under the supervision of teachers. The library is equipped with computers for browsing the Internet or the on-line library catalogue. The technical facilities of the libraries are updated constantly. All the transactions are carried out through the library automation program. The reading room for the 1st-2nd and 3rd graders are decorated cheerfully to inculcate in them a love for books and interest in reading. Teachers accommodate regular unit-based library work conducted by students in each grade level. Every month, a book is introduced publicly at school to promote reading. Furthermore, in order to encourage reading, the librarian keeps track of the students who read most and announce the bookworm of the term and awarded with a certificate. Annual Book Fair and interviews with well know authors, poets and journalist, book-lovers club are some the activities to motivate students for reading.
