OUR POLYPHONY CHOIR RANKS SECOND IN THE WORLD

Our Polyphony Choir proudly represented Çevre Koleji at the “Young Bohemia” International Choir Festival held in Prague, Czechia, under the coordination of our Music Department. Competing alongside internationally recognized professional choirs, our students delivered an outstanding performance and achieved second place in the world, bringing great pride to our school community. We sincerely congratulate our students and extend our heartfelt thanks to the teachers who guided them throughout this remarkable journey.

Comprising 27 choristers, our choir successfully performed a repertoire consisting of modern arrangements of ethnic and regional works. Their performance received high praise from the jury members as well as from participating schools representing different countries, and the team attracted great attention and appreciation throughout the festival.

In addition to their musical success, our students gained valuable “international experience” by closely observing the musical and artistic practices of other countries. They also had the opportunity to engage in meaningful “cultural exchange” with their peers and to explore the historic city of Prague.

We once again congratulate our Polyphony Choir on this outstanding achievement and wish them continued success in the future.
