Physical Sciences
Çevre College Primary School students maintain their Physical Sciences Laboratory classes at the lesson hours planned weekly throughout the year.
With a program proceeding in a helical manner, the planned studies are carried out with Physical Sciences teachers starting from the 1st Grade to the end of the 8th Grade.
Under the guidance of teachers of Physical Sciences, the students develop following procedures such as:
- Observing the incidents taking place in nature,
- Making explanations,
- Improving skills for making use of scientific thinking stages regarding the problems encountered in daily life,
- Designing an experiment for a problem,
- Applying such experiment,
- Obtaining data, and
- Making assessments
The programs, which are prepared in parallel to the curriculum of Life Studies at the level of 1st and 2nd Grades, and Physical Sciences at the level of 3rd and 4th Grades, support cognitive, kinaesthetic, analytic, and emotional processes of the students.
