At Çevre College, we aim to provide our students with balanced nutrition, encourage them to adopt good eating habits, and raise their awareness about healthy food choices.

Our kindergarten and primary 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students are served breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. Our 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade and high school students are served breakfast and lunch. All meals are served in the dining hall and are attended by the class teacher. All our menus are designed according to a complementary nutrition model.

Our professional kitchen staff, directed by our food engineering department, prepare all our meals in Çevre’s school kitchen. Our dietician prepares the monthly menu in accordance with the standards for schools set by the Ministry of Healthy Food and Beverage. The menu is published at the beginning of each month.

Following requests and suggestions from parents, we are currently working on a diet meal procedure for students with special health requirements.

The importance with which the school treats healthy nutrition is reflected in the quality and the brands of the products we source. All food management processes in the kitchen, dishwashing area and dining hall are carried out in accordance with the "Hygiene Control Procedure" included in our ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System, and we periodically carry out health checks on all our personnel. All our food practices are covered by the "Nutrition Friendly School Project" conducted by the Ministry of National Education. Çevre’s kitchen, has been awarded a "WHITE FLAG" in accordance with the hygiene and cleaning regulations set by the "Provincial Public Health Directorate and Provincial Directorate of National Education" inspectors.
