The 22nd Science and Technology Week of

Çevre College was held between May 8-12, 2023. Our events were attended by approximately one thousand students from first grade through high school.

On the first day of the event, approximately 55 scientific studies prepared by our fifth and sixth grade students were displayed in the foyer. The originality and perspective of our students' work, as well as their ability to share their experiences with other students, guests, and us, were truly remarkable.

On the second day of the events, Dr. Yavuz Oğuz Uca spoke with our high school eighth, prep, ninth, tenth, and eleventh grade students. Biotechnology, Bionanotechnology, DNA Nanotechnology, and Nanomedicine were discussed in the interview. Prof. Dr. Yavuz Oğuz Uca provided our students with information about his academic work, new scientific fields of study that we may encounter in the coming years, career planning, and opportunities.

All seventh graders had the opportunity to participate in a science and technology competition in which their knowledge and performance on instant tasks were evaluated. In the competition, our students competed in areas such as teamwork, design, and creativity, in addition to answering the questions posed. The competition was filled with enjoyable and thrilling moments, and our students set an excellent example of how teamwork can lead to success.

With the assistance of Croda Kimya advisors, our fourth graders conducted enjoyable experiments in our chemistry laboratory by experimenting with scientific processes, taking measurements, and drawing conclusions.

Within the scope of Science and Technology Week activities, our Information Technology Department organized numerous special events for our students.

During the two-day Technology Fair, our students were able to exhibit the work they had been preparing throughout the year. Students, parents, teachers, and external participants attended the exhibitions and presentations, and the project owner students exhibited and demonstrated the entirety of the work displayed.

Virtual Reality Experience Area attracted significant student interest. Within the scope of Metaverse trainings, our visitors had the opportunity to experience the virtual world created by the students throughout the year. Our 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th graders competed fiercely in the Coding Challenge competition and displayed their skills in the interclass competition.

In the context of the Robot Football Matches event that took place during lunch breaks, our students had a great time moving robots with codes.

Students in the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grades attended a seminar on Information Crimes and Cyber Security. The seminar was organized with the participation and presentation of Information Crimes Bureau police officers. In the presentation, our police officers shed light on our students' awareness by sharing real-world experiences.

Daily, visitors were presented with a new theme at the Graphic Design Digital Exhibition, which was displayed on the administrative floor. Throughout the week, our exhibitions with various themes, such as Manipulation Technology Addiction and Digital Citizenship, were displayed for visitors.

Prof. Dr. Serkant Ali Çetin was our honored guest at the 22nd Science and Technology Week's closing ceremony and award ceremony. Our guest gave an enlightening presentation to our students on the significance of physics in Turkey and the world, CERN and Atlas Experiments, and subatomic particles. Our students did not disappoint us with the projects and performances they prepared, nor with our faith in future generations. The awards, which were determined by jury evaluations of the work done, were given to our students at the award ceremony by our guests and administrators. Our Polyphony Team, which represented our school at the San Remo Music Festival, and their conductor, our Music Teacher Ekrem Yanık, performed for our guests, making us proud.
