Çevre High School students became the National Champions in the Liseliler Arası Duyarlıyım Award Program, organized at the national level by Sabancı University, with the innovative project they developed.
Our students Ayşe Karadeniz, Demir Özdemir, and Zehra Işıl Kayalı, with their Information Technologies teacher Ebru Kurtoğlu, achieved outstanding nationwide success with their project and earned the right to receive a full scholarship to attend Sabancı University’s High School Summer School.
The award ceremony for this year’s program—which included 86 high schools from 25 cities—was held at the Sabancı University Performing Arts Center as part of International Volunteer Day. The awards were presented to our students by Emre Erol, Director of Sabancı University’s Foundations Development Program.
At the ceremony, our students also had the opportunity to present their project to a wider audience during the “Sharing Winning Projects” panel, moderated by Nevgül Bilsel Safkan, General Manager of the Sabancı Foundation.
We wholeheartedly congratulate our students and their advisor teacher for representing our school.
