CUNEIFORM EVENT!
Our 5th-grade students engaged in a cuneiform writing activity in their social studies class. Cuneiform is the earliest writing system, originally developed to write in the Sumerian language in ancient Mesopotamia, where historical era was initiated. The students had the opportunity to experience cuneiform writing by carving it on tablets they created from play dough. The students had fun and learnt at the same time.
