The education program titled “I Am Growing, I Am Developing,” organized for 6th and 7th-grade students, was held between April 14–22 by experts from TAP Foundation (Turkey Family Health and Planning Foundation) with the participation of guidance counselors.
During the two-class-hour sessions, the aim was for students to develop awareness about private spaces and personal boundaries, learn hygiene rules, and express their sexual identities accurately and healthily. Additionally, it was intended for students to acquire information about growth and development processes from reliable sources and to develop a positive self-image, enabling them to express themselves correctly. The sessions, in which students actively participated and showed great interest, were highly productive in line with the intended learning outcomes.
