BURGAZADA SAİT FAİK ABASIYANIK MUSEUM VISIT

Çevre High School 9th-grade students  visited the museum house of Sait Faik Abasıyanık, an important figure in Turkish literature whose stories were read in Turkish language and literature class. Sait Faik Abasıyanık, one of the pioneers of Turkish storytelling, lived in Burgazada and wrote many of his stories there. Our students who visited the mansion where he lived had the opportunity to get to know the writer better by seeing his personal belongings, photographs, letters, and numerous items and documents bearing the traces of memories that inspired his works.

After the museum visit, our students engaged in analyzing the writer's stories in the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere of Burgazada. They had a day where they both had fun and learned a lot.
